Ingredients for kolhapuri bhadang
- 1/2 kg puffed rice thick (kurmura)
- 4 tbsps oil
- 1/4 cup peanuts raw
- 7-8 garlic cloves crushed (lehsun)
- 10-12 curry leaves (kadi patta)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)
- 2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp aamchur pawder(dry mango pawder)
- 3 tbsp metkut (optional)
- salt as per taste
- 2 tsp sugar powdered
Steps
Heat the oil in a deep kadhai, add the peanuts and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for 4 minutes.
Add the curry leaves, turmeric powder and asafoetida and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
Cool completely and store in an air-tight container.
