Bread upma is a quick recipe that can be either made for breakfast or snack.bread upma that makes a healthy & tasty breakfastIts Kids Fovorite dish.Ingredients
1) Bread - 10 slices (brown or white bread)2) Chopped Onion- 1 big or 2 medium
3) chopped Green chilli - 2 slit
4)Sugar to taste
5)Salt to taste
6)Peanut (10-15)
7) 1/2 Lemon juice.
For the seasoning
1) Oil - 2 1/2 tsp
2)Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
3)Curry leaves - few
4)Turmeric powder - a pinch
5) Hing
Method :
1)Cut bread into squares or tear it into small pieces.
2)Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add onions,peanut ,green chillies, curry leaves and saute until onions turn transparent.
3)Then add turmeric powder,Hing.
4)Add Lemon Juice and stir well.
5)Then add bread pieces add sugar & salt as per test and toss until bread is well coated with the Pan masala.
6)Serve hot.You do not need any side dish for this upma.you can it this upama in breackfast or at a tea time.
