Kairicha Panha is a traditional Maharashtrian raw mango drink . It is called Aam (mango) Panna in Hindi. One can find this healthy and refreshingsummer coolant drink in almost every house
in Maharashtra in hot summer months of March and April ,May.
Ingredients:
- 2 Kairi (Kachha Aam)
- 1 cup Jaggery / Gudh
- salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp cumin seed powder
- Ice
- Water

Method:
1) Wash the raw mangoes, peel them and cut into pieces.
place them in a vessel. Put this vessel inside a cooker with water and cook the mangoes for 2-3 whistles or until they are soft.
2)Add pulp, jaggery and mix well ,Let's wait for the cooked mangoes plup cool down.
3) after cooling down mangoes plup ,Add mixture of plup and jaggery to blender and blend it.
4) Strain it and add salt, cardamom powder and mix it.
5) The thick pulp is ready.
6) While serving Panha add Thick plup ,ice cube ,water ,pinch of cumin seeds powderand serve chill.
