Simple and quick , instant carrot pickle, gajarache lonche. and You refrigerate pickle which can be consumed in 4-5 days. This is a tasty condiment to serve with meal
Ingredients :
1 cup sliced carrots
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1/4 tbsp / hing
2 Tbsp mango pickle masala
2-3 teaspoons oil
Salt as per taste
1/2 Tbsp sugar
Methods :
1) Wash & peel the carrots and dry them completely. Cut the carrots into long thick slices.
2) Heat oil in pan.Add asafoetida ,turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
3) Add sliced carrots.
4) Add Salt As per test ,sugar & sliced 2 Tbsp mango pickle masala.mix well.
5) On low flame ,Cook for 2-3 minutes till carrots getting soft.
6) Take the pan off the flame. and wait for cool down mixter.
7) After cooling above mixture, Transfer the achar to a clean jar.
8) Finally ,Refrigerate Gajarache lonche - carrot pickle.
