puri is a very popular indian Recipe.
Ingredients:
1) 2 Cup whole wheat flour2) oil – 4-5 teaspoon
3) salt – to taste
4) water – as required
5) Oil for Frying Puri
Method :
1)Take 2 Cup wheat flour, Add 1 Tbsp salt in it.
2)Take Small Takda pan ,add 4-5 tbsp oil and heat the oil.after heating oil switch the gas.
3) Add hot oil on wheat flour.
4)Now add water little by little and knead it to a soft, firm dough.The dough should be tighter than the chapati dough.
5)Rest the dough for 10 to 15 mins.
6)after 10-15 minutes ,Divide the dough into equal small balls.
7)Take a ball, roll it in a oiled surface till thin.
8)Drop poori/puri in oil, press on top till puffy.
9)Heat oil in a pan/kadai.first Check whether the oil is hot enough by dropping a pinch of dough into the hot oil.
10)slide the poori/puri into the hot oil.
11)When it starts bubbling and rise to the top, press gently with the back of a ladle.
12)Also flip it to the other side and cook till the bubbling stops.
13) Remove the poori/puri with a slotted spoon and transfer to an absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
14) Serve the puri with shrikhand/ aamrkhand/Basundi/Shevaya kheer/Potato Subji.
