Shevyachi kheer / Vermicelli kheer/semiya ,a delicious dessert. Shevayachi Kheer is a very simple and easy to make Maharashtrian.
This kheer made with the combination of Vermicelli noodles and  milk. This kheer is made for occession of festivals like gudipadawa,ganpati festivals,navratri,as Prasad /Prasadam.


Ingredients:

1) 1/2 Bowl thin vermicelli /Shevaya /semiya
2) 2 Tbsp Pure Ghee.
3) 1/2 liter milk
4) 1 Bowl Sugar
5) 1 Tbsp Raisins (kishmish)
6) 1 Tbsp chopped Cashew nuts
7) 1 Tbsp chopped Almonds
8) 1/2 Tbsp Cardamom Powder.
9) 1/4 keshar
10) Dudh Masala .




Method :
1) Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame.after melting ghee, add  the Vermicelli into it.
2) Rost them to slightly goldan brown colour.
3) Add Raisins (kishmish),chopped Cashew nuts,chopped Almonds. rost all of them with Vermicelli for couple of minutes.
4) Now Add  1/2 liter milk and Mix it well.
5) Let  wait for boil mixture.stir in between.
6) After boiling mixture ,Then Add in the sugar. Lower the flame and let the milk thicken slightly. 
7) Cook till the milk thickens and the vermicelli cooks.
8) Finally garnish with Dudh masala & keshar.
9) Serve hot with puris /chapati /or dissert.
