Niger seed is known as karale (कारळे) / Khurasni (खुरसणी) in Marathi.Its North Karnataka's famous dry chutneys .
Ingredients:
1)1 cup Niger seeds(200gm)(Khurasni/Karale)
2)1 tsp chili powder
3)4 –5 big cloves of garlic
4)salt to taste
Method :
1) Dry roast the Niger seeds till they turn dark brown.
2) Cool them then take mixer jar and add Niger seeds with chili powder, salt and garlic
3) Grind to a fine powder and store in a air tight container
4)Serve with Meal dish
